Azusa Pacific University

Azusa Pacific University is a Christian university located in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains about 30 miles outside of Los Angeles, California. It is a private, evangelical Christian university with a diverse student body representing more than 80 denominations. Founded in 1899, APU is affiliated with the InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and is a member of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities. The university offers a wide range of academic programs in the liberal arts and sciences, as well as in health sciences, business and music. In addition, APU offers graduate and doctoral programs in fields such as psychology, nursing and business administration. With its strong commitment to faith-based education and the integration of faith and learning, the university strives to equip students with the tools and knowledge they need to become missional leaders in their lives, workplaces, communities and churches.
